In conjunction with the State of Michigan, the Auburn Hills Police Department has partnered with Identix Incorporated to offer finger printing services. This partnership is due to newly instituted requirements that all finger prints be submitted electronically to the state and the FBI.

Due to additional background requirements, the Auburn Hills Police Department will continue to fingerprint residents for the following reasons:

  • Adoption- Applicants
  • Consumer & Industry SVCS, Liquor License
  • Convictions Set Aside Application – Adult
  • Convictions Set Aside Application – Juvenile
  • Fingerprint Registration
  • Housing Commission (PL 104-120 of 1996) HUD Public
  • Housing Inhabitant
  • Name Change
  • Personal Record Review
  • Visa/Immigration application

Contact the Records Department at 248-370-9460 if you need to be fingerprinted for any of the processes listed above.

All others needing to be printed for employment or licensing can contact Identix Incorporated by clicking: http://www.identix.com/IIS/mi.html or by calling 1-866-226-2952 (8 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST) to schedule an appointment.
