Information on obtaining a permit to purchase and register a firearm

Monday through Friday
9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. / 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

You must be a resident of Auburn Hills and have a valid Michigan State Identification card or a Michigan Drivers License.

Permit is valid for ten days during which time the firearm must be purchased and returned to the records bureau for registration.
