On December 18, 2005 at 12:56 pm the Auburn Hills Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to a Pedestrian Injury Accident in the parking lot of the Target Store located at 650 Brown Road. Officers found that a 7 year old Clarkston boy was struck by a 2003 Cadillac Escalade driven by 42 year old women from Rochester Hills.

The boy suffered serious lower extremity injuries and was transported to Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. Alcohol does not seem to be a factor at this time. The accident investigation is continuing.
