The Auburn Hills Police Department is investigating an injury accident that occurred on Opdyke Road north of Featherstone Road. The time of the accident was approximately 4:24 p.m. on Thursday August 10th, 2006. A 1993 Dodge Dynasty was traveling north bound on Opdyke Road, the Dynasty drove left of center and hit a south bound 2005 Pontiac G6. Both vehicles had single occupants. The driver of the G6 went to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The driver of the Dynasty is currently in critical condition. At this time alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this accident, the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
