Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

Auburn Hills police arrested Jeffrey L. Farmer, 48 year old resident of Detroit, in connection with the armed robbery of the Rite Aide located at 2950 Lapeer Rd. Farmer was arraigned today on the charge of armed robbery at the 52/3 District Court. A $10,000 cash bond was set.
Farmer was identified after Sergeant McDonnell located a white Ford Expedition that matched the description of the get away vehicle involved in the robbery. Further investigation by Auburn Hills detectives led to the identification and arrest of Farmer.
Farmer entered the Rite Aid on September 9, 2006, and implied that he had a gun in his jacket and announced a robbery. Farmer fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.
