On October 24, 2006 at 3:29 p.m. officers from the Auburn Hills Police Department responded to an injury accident. The accident occurred on south bound I-75 just north of University Road overpass. A 23 year old, West Bloomfield Township woman attempted to make a lane change when her vehicle struck a 2004 Hyundai Accent. The Hyundai, driven by a 29 year old Canton woman, then struck the median wall, rolled over and came to rest on its roof. Both drivers were transported to Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital for treatment of the injuries. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the accident. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of accident.
