Suspect Arrested for CSC IV

A suspect that inappropriately touched two women at Wal-Mart has been arrested.  Tommie Leonard Johnson, 56 years old, of Pontiac Michigan was charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree.  Criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree is a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 2 years or a fine of not more than $500.00, or both.

 

On November 11, 2006, the Auburn Hills Police Department received complaints that two adult women were inappropriately touched while shopping at Wal-Mart.  The victims provided a description of the suspect and Wal-Mart was able to provide video surveillance of the suspect in the store.

 

On November 17, 2006 Mr. Johnson returned to Wal-Mart and was spotted by Wal-Mart employees.  Officers responded to scene and were able to apprehended Mr. Johnson without incident.

 

Mr. Johnson was arraigned on November 18, 2006 at 6th Circuit Court in Pontiac, MI.  Magistrate Faycurry set bond at $50,000.00 cash surety on each count for a total of $100,000.00.  Mr. Johnson was lodged at the Oakland County Jail after his arraignment on the charges.
