Motel 6 Shooting
On December 7, 2006, at 02:40 am Officers from the Auburn Hills Police Department responded to the Motel 6, located 1471 N. Opdyke Rd., for a report of a shooting. A citizen had called 911 and stated that he had been shot. Upon arrival officers determined that the victim, a 35 year old Pontiac resident, had been shot in the leg. The victim was transported to the hospital by medical personnel. At this time the victims injury appears to be non-life threatening.
