Suspect Description in Motel 6 Shooting
The Auburn Hills Police Department seeks assistance in locating suspects involved in a shooting at Motel 6, 1471 N. Opdyke Rd. on December 7, 2006 at 2:40 am. The suspect is described as a black male, 18-23 years of age, light skinned, 6’1” tall, 170lbs. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark color hooded sweatshirt under a brown Carhart style coat, dark color jeans, white tennis shoes and a black and white bandanna pulled over his nose. The victim states that the suspect had a stutter when he talked. A second subject was also at the scene and is described as black male wearing dark clothing and a black knit hat.
On December 7, 2006, at 02:40 am Officers from the Auburn Hills Police Department responded to the Motel 6, located 1471 N. Opdyke Rd., for a report of a shooting. The victim, a 35 year old Pontiac resident, called 911 and stated he had been shot in the leg. The victim was transported to the hospital by medical personnel. The victim is being treated for a non-life threatening injury.
The Auburn Hills Police Department is asking anyone that may have seen a vehicle leaving the area of the Motel 6 around 2:40 am or may know anyone matching the suspect’s description to contact the Auburn Hills Police Department at 248-370-9444.
