National Night Out 2006

Academy Graduate Gives Back

After experiencing various duties of a police officer through the Auburn Hills Citizen’s Police Academy, Scott Sousley decided to give something back to the community.  Scott and his wife Rhonda donated several gifts for children ranging from infant to 4 years old.  The gifts will be forwarded to Auburn Hills families in need during the holiday season.

Scott, owner of Innovative Medicine Inc. in Bloomfield Hills, recently moved to the Auburn Hills area.  After riding with a police officer on patrol during the citizen’s academy, Scott realized there were several families in the area that could use a little help.  Scott and Rhonda usually give a cash donation to a charity during the holiday season.  This year the couple decided to give directly to the community were they live.

Lieutenant James Manning said, “It is nice to know that our citizen’s academy has had such a positive impact.  Scott was able to see first hand what our officers experience on a daily basis.  We are pleased that he has chosen to give back to Auburn Hills.”
