Armed Robbery
On January 26, 2007, at approximately 5:00 a.m., the Auburn Hills Police Department responded to the Mobil Gas Station at 4243 Baldwin Road on a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. The clerk told responding officers that the suspect entered the store and briefly spoke with the clerk. The suspect then handed the clerk a plastic bag and produced a handgun demanding money. Once the suspect was given the money, the suspect fled the store on foot. A K-9 track lead officers to an area a short distance away where a car is believed to have been waiting for the suspect. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9” to 5’10” and 160 to 170 pounds. The suspect was wearing a dark grey “hoodie” that covered a baseball hat, and blue jeans. There were no injuries and the suspect made off with and undetermined amount of cash. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Auburn Hills Police at 248-370-9444.
