Personal Injury Accident M-59
On January 29, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. members of the Auburn Hills Police and Fire Departments responded to an injury accident on east bound M-59 near Squirrel Rd.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a blue Chevrolet Camaro was traveling east bound on M-59 near Squirrel Rd. The driver, a 23 year old resident of Shelby Township, lost control of his vehicle and spun out in front of a flatbed lumber truck. The Camaro was struck on the passenger side. The driver and sole occupant of the Camaro sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
This accident remains under investigation. It is undetermined if alcohol or drugs are a factor in this crash. Anyone who witnessed the accident is requested to contact the Auburn Hills Police Department at (248) 370-9444.
