Armed Robbery
On August 9, 2007 at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Auburn Hills Police Department responded to the area of Avondale High School on a report of an armed robbery. The two victims, a 24 year old and 27 year old Auburn Hills resident were walking when they were approached by three black male subjects. One of the subjects brandished a firearm and demanded the victim give him everything he had. The second victim was approached from behind by two subjects. One of the subjects was holding a box Cutter style knife. The victims were able to complete a composite drawing of the subject with the firearm.
The suspect that brandished the gun is described as a black male, about 16 years of age, approximately 58 tall with a medium build. The suspect was wearing an oversized purple shirt, shorts, white baseball hat and tennis shoes. The other two subjects were described as black males, 15 years of age, 57 tall and thin. There were no injuries and the suspect made off with and undetermined amount of cash.
