Bomb Threat Suspect Arrested
A 21 year old Southfield resident has been arrested in connection with a false bomb threat to Baker College. The suspect was questioned by Auburn Hills Police Investigators and confessed to making a false bomb threat. The case will be forward to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office for review. The suspect has been lodged at the Oakland County Jail. Making a false bomb threat is a felony punishable by up to four years in prison.
On Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 7:30 AM, Auburn Hills Police responded to Baker College, 1500 University Dr. after receiving information of a bomb threat. The Auburn Hills Police conducted a sweep of the building with assistance from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office K-9 team. It was determined through the investigation that the building was safe and no device was located.
