Robbery Suspect Arrested and Charged

Christopher Snider, 29 years old, of Rochester has been charged with three counts of armed robbery. Snider was arraigned today before Magistrate Soma of the 52/3 District Court in Rochester Hills who set bond at $400,000 for each of the three charges.
Snider was arrested in Pontiac on Sunday, 2/25/2007 while driving a stolen car. Snider was already a suspect in two armed robberies of the Mobil Gas station on Baldwin Rd in Auburn Hills and the armed robbery of the Sunoco Gas station on Joslyn Rd in Orion Twp. The Mobil station was robbed on January 29, 2007 and February 21, 2007. An Auburn Hills detective interviewed Snider after his arrest and he confessed to the three armed robberies. Investigators from Auburn Hills, Pontiac, and the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office continue to investigate other crimes that Snider may have been involved in.
Armed robbery is a felony with a possibility of up to life in prison.
