Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested
Marvin Cameron Johnson, 19 years old, of Pontiac and Marcelino Rodriquez, 17 years old, of Auburn Hills were arrested on March 25 for the armed robbery of a Devino’s Pizza employee.
On March 25, 2007 at approximately 9:55 pm officers from the Auburn Hills Police Department responded to 3020 Garden Ct for a reported armed robbery. Officers spoke with the victim, a 44 year old Auburn Hills resident. The victim stated that he was delivering pizza to 3020 Garden Ct and when he arrived at the door he was met by one of the suspects who produced a black semi-auto pistol and demanded money. The victim complied with the request and was ordered to get back in his vehicle and leave the area. The victim did not sustain any injuries.
Officers spoke with a witness who saw a subject matching the suspect’s description enter a nearby house. Officers obtained permission to search the house and located the two suspects inside. The suspects were taken into custody without incident.
Johnson and Rodriquez were each arraigned on March 26, 2007 at the 52/3 District Court on one count of Armed Robbery and one count of Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. Magistrate Marie Soma set a cash bond of $30,000 for Johnson and $15,000 for Rodriquez. Johnson and Rodriquez were lodged at the Oakland County jail after their arraignment on the charges.
