Beacon Hill Shooting

Shooting Incident Results in Death

 

 

On Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 2:32 AM the Auburn Hills Police Dispatch received a call of ‘someone got shot’ and the location was in the 2600 block of the Beacon Hill Apartments.  Officers arrived to find a 21 year old, male, from Pinckney, MI in a bedroom with a single gunshot to his head.  The victim was declared dead at the scene.  There were a number of people in the residence and officers were able to identify the person responsible for the shooting as a 22 year old, male, from South Lyon, MI.  The persons in the residence were friends and had been at the residence since Friday evening.  The incident is still under investigation and will be reviewed by the Oakland County Prosecutors Office within the next 48 hours.   Further information will be released after the investigation is completed and the case reviewed by the prosecutor.   Should anyone have any information they can contact the Auburn Hills Police at 248-370-9444.
